PALMER'S Superb Leave-in Conditioner/Detangler

This is a very good leave-in conditioner. That's a great price, and even if you have very long hair, one bottle will do. I like that it's a non-aerosol spray. This allows for a more even application than creamy leave-in conditioners, which are basically hair lotions. The bottle is very large and conditions better than most other leave-in spray conditioners. Be sure to apply only on or near the ends. Only use on damp hair, not dry hair, and do not overspray or the coconut oil will make your freshly shampooed/conditioned hair greasy. My only complaint is the smell. There are almost no artificial fragrances, which is great... but compared to other coconut oil-based bath and body products, this conditioner didn't smell like coconut or pina colada at all. In fact, it smelled a lot more than the liquid artificial popcorn butter they use in movie theater booths. However, it's worth noting that (if you have short hair and/or don't overdo it) this odd smell is unlikely to be a problem. It seems to dissipate as the hair dries and it's not even noticeable when the hair is completely dry. If you have long, very long hair that is dry, brittle or prone to tangling, I think you should probably use it. in addition to (not in place of) your regular rinse-off conditioner. When I purchased this product, I planned to use it more as a way to provide "extra help" on top of my regular conditioner, rather than as a replacement. Because the product is a liquid formula, not a cream, and is sprayed onto wet hair (rather than applied directly to wet hair and massaged into hair before rinsing), there is a reasonably expected limit to coverage uniformity. wet hair after use helps to redistribute it a bit (since it also helps with detangling) but in my opinion this product when used alone doesn't give you the same amount of conditioner as when you *additionally * would use to your regular rinsing conditioner.
