Expensive for a plastic house that's falling apart
This is a nice house but poorly designed. It's meant to have spaces that you can reconfigure in different ways, but they don't force the pieces to stick together so they keep falling off as you play. Design changes are not obvious. I had to constantly look for ideas in the box. The children got upset every time the room collapsed. We've tried different layouts, but there's no obvious way to rearrange the rooms, so I wish they'd done a better job on the design and forgot the reconfiguration trick. The plastic looks thin and bends. It won't survive the game. It is big and bulky and not easy to fold and store. It seems very expensive for a plastic house that falls apart easily. I returned it and bought a sturdy collapsible wooden dollhouse from Melissa and Doug.
