Exactly what we needed!

Our sliding doors needed love. There's some wooden spatula for the scratches (hell, the dog won't stop scratching them). I'm going to repaint them this weekend. and got these super light films to keep the morning sun at bay. It's terribly bright in the morning. Fair price compared to similar products, delivery in 2 days and installation of the windows in about 30 minutes. It took me longer to clean the windows and trim them than it took me to hang them. The most annoying thing is cutting the film. Far away. If you have room for it, roll out as much as you need and trim the extra 1/2 inch around the perimeter to a full inch. Start hanging from left to right. I use a small silicone spatula to slide it into the small gap where the glass and wood meet. My installation tip: If you think your windows are too damp. add more. (Hint: you don't need a solution. It's literally the same as filling a pitcher with a gallon of water and adding a few drops of liquid soap. I used a dial. I've used [even less] Dawn dish soap with the previous films ].) window before sticking the film. Literally a dog hair will create a giant bubble. You can easily avoid this by watering your window properly. The more water you add, the easier the film will slide and maneuver in place. The more you add, the easier it is for hair or dirt to slide down and come out. The more you add, the less likely you are to have air bubbles and defects. Of course you could find an alternative tool, but the mop makes it perfect and easy. Also, a carton opener with a fresh blade helps streamline the process. I can see clearly and can't see outside unless I press my nose against the glass lol. I noticed that some reviewers mentioned distortion, but I didn't take offense. So I can only recommend it!

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION: Specially made PVC material is lightweight and won't fall off like other static cling blinds.
Cons
  • Hard to say
