I needed a heavy bag one on one training timer and that was all I needed. I haven't found any features that contradict the description provided. It's small, maybe a little smaller than a pager if you remember. I didn't find anything difficult to set up or program. If you can set up a digital clock, then everything is fine. No additional instructions need to be downloaded. But if you're struggling with the clock, then maybe. I set mine to only 1 main 1 minute interval to repeat 30 times. I set the beep to be loud and last 5 seconds. If you really need a seconds interval, just leave this setting at 0:00 like I did. I pause every 5 cycles of running in place or skipping and then start the next lap. Light. My work is printed on the wall. I keep track of this. The timer just tells me when to continue. It would also be great for weight training. I think they call it "high intensity training" these days. I've been doing this for decades now. I called it "Station Training" 30 years ago and I still do. Transitioning from one station or exercise to another in a cycle that alternates between cardio and resistance. I will use this timer for the next one.
