This is my first time using a straightening brush so I wasn't sure what it would look like. I have coarse, medium-density, wavy hair. After blow-drying hair stays straight for a little over a day, after which it starts to sway. This brush is a good tool for those days when I don't need to wash my hair when I want straight hair. According to the instructions, the hair must be pre-dried. I actually forgot to read the instructions before use - shame on me - and used it on slightly damp hair. It still worked like a charm! I used the highest settings. I took light layers of hair, ran it through the brush and it came out dry and smooth, with the ends slightly curled from pocketing the brush while brushing. The end results were great. Better than a flat iron actually because my hair was straight but had volume while flat irons result in flat hair. Temperature settings are in degrees Celsius, but as discussed above, the maximum temperature is 356 degrees Fahrenheit. The brush is not light, but not heavy either.
