I have read many other reviews that say this product is thick, chalky, greasy and varnishy. I noticed that almost all of these reviews are at least a few years old, so I decided to buy the product and try it anyway. I'm so glad I did because I LOVE it. First, it arrived in just two days. The texture is very pleasant and light. It should be water based as it absorbs easily and cleanly into the skin. It has a nice fresh scent that isn't too sweet or artificial. The whitening effect is invisible. It is not striped or ashy but gives a beautiful dewy complexion. Can't speak to sun protection properties yet as I haven't really tried it, but haven't noticed any burns so far! Overall, I recommend everyone to try this product.
