I bought this comb because I liked the spacing of the teeth and the materials it is made of. I like wood and other rustic "earthly" things. skin and the like. They do not charge statically and are better in the hand. Now, this comb was smaller than I thought it would be, but since the teeth are buffalo horn, its size wasn't a factor. Its grip fits my hand perfectly, and those smooth, perfectly spaced teeth comb through my thick, curly hair. For months I struggled to detangle my mane with a cheap plastic comb, which pulled out clumps of hair. I combed through with this new comb once, just once, and the plastic comb immediately threw it in the garbage heap. It slipped through my hair and the light touch tamed any unruly knots. The best part? I didn't have to collar and name the tufts of hair I pulled out of my comb because for the first time there weren't any! This is my favorite comb, I've been using it for a few months now.
