Works great with my electric dryer. I use it in the winter to supplement my stove and also to pump some moisture back into the air during those cold, dry winters. Instead of buying expensive replacement filters, I went to the store and bought some cheap cardboard edged mesh filters. After cutting the cardboard, I used the original as a template and cut out replacements. They fit well and filter lint very well. And since they're so cheap, I just change them out every few weeks (that's like 4-5 batches of clothes and a few towels). When I wash linens I put a new filter in before washing this weekend. , and throw it away when you're done.
