This tool has allowed me to place my cartridge where it should be. I bought my Dual 601 with an Empire CD-4/I cartridge in 1975 from a reputable audio store. Records always sounded dirty towards the end. After checking the player I always thought it was a bad edition of the albums. Fast forward to 2017 (42 years later). I still listen to the same turntable after changing a few belts. Thought I'd buy a geo disc to see where I'm at with alignment. Was I surprised when I checked the cartridge installation with this disc! Not much came out, but I thought all the records sound really amazing now. I did the same with my Dual 1218 with an Ortofon cartridge. The same results have been heard. It justified the cost to get the best possible sound quality.
