I needed to install a security camera outside of our home. I routed the AC plug through the attic into an indoor closet. On the other side of the wall outside the closet is an electrical outlet. I cut a hole in the drywall just big enough to connect the AC plug from the closet to an outlet on the other side of the closet. IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU PUNCH A HOLE IN THE WALL, BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT THE EXISTING POWER CORD. I routed the cable through the DATA COMM electronics cable panel and plugged the power cord into the outlet. I attached the cable plate to the wall. Creates a clean look for this type of installation instead of a hole with a dowel going through the wall. Anthony
