Review on Olympus Stylus Digital Camera Blue by Kenyatta Mack

A worthy successor to the 3000 series

This camera is ideal for those looking for a compact camera that doesn't have to worry about it breaking. An improvement on the stylus-rugged 3000 series in a great way that solves many of the issues the 3000 series had. I loved my 3000: despite its flaws, it's always been great to have a super-portable and rugged camera wherever I go also went . Quick Menu: The 3000 had a very slow menu system that was very laggy, this has been fixed and this camera runs at modern speeds2. Lens protection: The 3000 had no lens protection, so dirt, dust, sand and water inevitably got on the lens and really ruined your shots. This camera fixed that with a lens cap that removes the lens when you turn the camera off. It seems durable and keeps dirt out. Overall this camera is amazing, I took it white water rafting and it held up great (I didn't submerge it in water but it definitely got wet and bumped). This is a great camera for outdoor enthusiasts who don't want to lug around a huge camera, get frustrated with the quality of their phone footage, and want to shoot anywhere.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
