Bought this for my almost 10 year old and it fits just right. Not much room to grow and the length is short too. I expect she'll outgrow them in a few months. My daughter is 55 inches tall with a slim build of 71 pounds. However, they look very cute and the material is nice. She said it was "so soft!" But it doesn't seem particularly soft to me (laughs).
