Much easier to solder. I used them to install my car radio. Just cut the wires, remove them from plastic and attach them to the connector. I used a simple heat gun and within 30 seconds I was done. Just a tip: use a heat gun for best results (the first time I used a lighter and burned it). I shared the package with my boss and he used them to run speaker wire around his house. He was also very happy with the product.
