These things work great! I miss old washing machines. I remember when I was little and wanted to see how clothes were washed. The spin cycle was best, especially when it was unbalanced and fun. Back then, pure water was added during the spin cycle until it really rinsed the laundry well. Since I now have my own washing machine, I needed one with a transparent lid. I was disappointed to find that these new washing machines don't add water during the spin cycle. This keeps all those nasty things that float in the bathtub on top of the clothes. Dog hair has never been a problem. I've tried a few of these rubber fur closures. They helped remove the fur from the clothes, but all the hair stayed in the tub of the washing machine. So I got some of these to work with and the difference is amazing. The fur zapper wipes the fur off the fabric, it floats to the surface of the water and they scoop it up. If there is any dog hair left, the dryer gets the last bits. A few downsides, but no major problems. After washing, they are difficult to shake out. But I wouldn't change it because I don't want the nasties to be emptied during the wash cycle. In less than a month of use, one fell apart. The tip fell off the device and I had to throw it away. But six packs for the price. I have some spare parts. It was worth buying. So glad I did! They're not perfect, but what are they really?
