Lids don't snap, they sit on top
These storage boxes would have earned 5 stars if it weren't for the lids. The lids don't snap onto the containers, they just sit on top. I use them for sensory containers and because the lids won't close I've gotten sand on my bottom more than once (my toddler can't keep them upright so when he pulls them out to play he always manages) a portion of the spillage) The containers themselves are nice and sturdy and they stack on top of each other
