My husband and I have been using thermos flasks for 10 years and have recently started using them for our 2.8 year old daughter. We seriously take our water bottles everywhere! Hiking, mountain biking, amusement parks, work, grocery store. This is our second baby, we won't go anywhere without her. With that said, we've perused dozens of covers. Most of them, like the smaller size in the attached photos, are flimsy and cheap. They either slide right off causing our 64 ounces of water to spill all over the place, mold the mouthpiece within a month even with regular use of the right sanitizer, or they lick like crazy! As you can see in the first picture (the cap on the left is purchased here) it has a plastic suction hole where the straw goes to keep it from leaking, in the 2nd picture is the cap on the right (purchased here) . ) is much larger, allowing you to safely screw in and support the weight of our 64-ounce growlers. Seriously the best cap in the world and I've bought them all including the Hydroflask brand and this one blows them all out of the water!
