Review on Arashi(Version 2 by Kevin Mills

I don't do reviews but I promised Jane at Arashi I would take pictures. So I'll try to be brief and concise. I have both the old and new styles on my Z125 and have seen some negative reviews, mostly regarding the installation and the derailleur brake spring in particular. So that's the focus. Arashi has solved these problems. I have attached photos showing the difference between the old and new versions. Quality: These are high quality rear seats. But I'm not going to get into a discussion. Some people like blondes; Some people like brunettes. To each his own. I use them on my pit bikes. Not on my racing bikes. I am very happy with them. They move the footpegs down and back significantly, which makes landing much more comfortable. Installation: very easy. They don't come with instructions but there are videos online if you need to. Took me about an hour in total. There weren't any problems at all. Remove the old luggage racks. Install a new one. The only thing I really suggest is to completely disassemble them and add thread lock and then reassemble them. On the right side, the attached brake switch spring works normally. It unfolds at one end. All you have to do is line up the length, pass through the drive arm and create a curve. Cut off the excess. It is so easy. On the left side they added standoffs to push the assembly further away from the case. The old style required you to trim the plastic to fit. .See attached photos.Company: A pleasure to deal with. I haven't had any issues so can't speak for warranty claims etc. However, I advise you to beware of fakes. Delivery: Delivery takes a minute. I think the estimated delivery times are very conservative. Mine arrived much earlier than the estimated date. Summary: Look at the photos. Hope this helps and solves all problems. I give them 5 stars.
