I regret buying this cheap product. The platform is made from 1/4" thick MDF and comes in two pieces held together with two tiny hinges. The hinges attach with four 3/16" screws. When I unpacked it and opened the platform, four screws fell off their hinges, rolled off the table onto the floor and were lost. They are so tiny that I could only find two of them. Even if I could find her and pick up this piece of junk, none of my three cats (the smallest weighs 12 pounds) would ever carry it. The pillow is large, but the foam padding is only 3 cm, which is about 1-1/2 inches. Coating - cheesy microfleece fiber. Shipping back would have cost me almost as much as I paid for it, so I'm sticking with it. The only way to save yourself from this disaster is to go to a hardware store and buy a 3/8 inch piece of plywood and cut it to size. I can attach metal supports with regular wood screws, which I will do. Buy a yard of quality terry cloth and make a pillowcase for it. Conclusion: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
