I usually buy cheap wireless remotes for around $5 because I figured I wouldn't spend more than $10 on something so small I wouldn't want everyone use day. Well after 4 cheap wireless remotes broke in a row I didn't want to spend any more money even though they were so cheap. I wanted a reliable brand that would last and the knobs would work properly. The Bastron remote is perfect for my needs. This is the best and most responsive remote control I have ever had. ADVANTAGES: Illuminated at night. All buttons are responsive. The touchpad really works and works well. No major delays like other brands. The keys do not stick over time. It is possible to turn off the power so the kids don't mess up all the settings on my computer. CONS: Small and light so easy to lose because my kids love to play with it.
