Using the bag as a saddlebag as there is for a 1992 GS500E and there isn't much room above the muffler for really long saddlebags. But in form and function they are better suited as saddlebags for modified GS500 or sport bikes. Because they cover the rear end well and also give the bike a slimmer, more formal appearance. Looks great as a side bag. I bought two, one I use as permanent and the other one I take off and on. There are still a few parts I need to work on on the current bike, but it's getting there.
