I was concerned by the many bad reviews but bought this to try myself. Everything worked perfectly on my 2000 Honda Accord. It has a disc changer port on the back of the stereo main unit. Please make sure you have it before purchasing. Basically, this box fools the system into thinking it has a disc changer plugged in (Honda had the option of buying a 6-disc changer, but very few cars actually have them). The installation is very simple. Remove the panel around the stereo, unscrew the stereo and connect this unit from the back. Route the auxiliary cable to an accessible location. Once you put everything back together, it's completely hidden behind the stereo. When my phone (or Bluetooth adapter) is connected directly to the device (and the engine is running), a small ground loop (high-pitched hum) can be heard coming from the speakers. This is only noticeable when the stereo volume is too high, so no problem. However, when my phone is charging via the cigarette lighter charger, the noise gets a lot louder and it's basically unbearable. How to repair? Buy a ground loop isolator. There are several options at really cheap prices (I bought one from Besign but I'm sure the others work just as well). Previously I used a Bluetooth to FM device. In fact, there is an aux output. I just hooked up a CD changer adapter (with a ground loop isolator in between) and everything works great. The sound quality of this blows the FM device out of the water. I'd love to see a ground loop isolator built into the design of this unit, but for about $10 you can easily add it yourself.
