The setting is 1/8 inch, not inch.
I don't know how long they will last but I love them now. I am a human with all my heart and no butt. My pants keep falling off. Belts either tight or loose with their 1" adjustment. These buckles have an adjustment of approximately 1/8" allowing the belt to fit your waist perfectly!
