This summer we rode through the country with our cat. We chose a different litter box system that had disposable pads and ceramic pellets that we didn't have to change during the trip, just take out the poo and change the pad every night. The stretcher was easy to use, big enough for our cat to have room to use the litter box and run around. We removed the hard bottom of the stretcher the first day because the cat peed on it before we could put the litter box in the car and we couldn't easily wash it. Afterwards easy to clean. Allowed us to take the cat to rest stops while we ate and stretched our legs. You can carry it with 1 person but easiest with 2 people, we were able to fit a family of 6 and our cat (in a pet carrier) in any hotel elevator at any stop. We loved being able to close or open the net as needed, it helped keep our cat calm during the unexpected Wyoming storm we were driving through!
