The bag itself is sturdy. Knew the hydration system was exactly as stated in the comments; Garbage. I threw it away right after unpacking it. High Sierra bags have always been built to last, so I knew it wouldn't be a waste of money. The straps always fit comfortably on any of their backpacks I've ever carried. You can also pack the tail out of this bag. Another thing I love about this brand is that the zippers never stick. They close as soft as butter, but still sit securely. The backpack is normal, I bought it as a backpack.
