Review on Ball-Mounted X-Grip 📱 Phone Holder by RAM MOUNTS by Tim Ross

Installed my iPhone X well and it was a good combination with a small double ball mount, also from RAM. I would recommend the Pro Clip fan mount (to all 4runner owners who don't want to drill). They work without any problems. Two design flaws (listening to the RAM?) are the 15-20 degree rotation even after the phone is in place. This is a "concession" that allows larger phones to be used. I can't imagine how annoying this is for motorcyclists. North-South stability is top-notch, but panning is annoying. Maybe the lock feature will help in the next version. Second, all iPhone users will be annoyed by the proximity to the volume buttons. My first call to the car was inaudible - I realized this was because the bracket coincided with the volume button. Again good but not perfect design. More stable than a CD or cup holder. but improvements are possible
