I love this product. I have two cats that both weigh about 12.8 pounds. It was really easy to put on. I will say if your cats have never had a harness they will definitely hate it. But in general I put it on easily, I also liked the quality of the leash and harness. Nothing was worn or torn, and the metal was of good quality to handle cat zooms. However, if it's not tight enough (even a little loose), they can and will slip away from you. I also like the placement on my cat. It does not press on the neck and fully supports the chest. My biggest fear is that my cat will choke on the harness while trying to run away or pull it the other way, which definitely won't happen to them. Overall, this is a good quality harness that will support your cat without hurting or suffocating. I also think it's a win that my cat hated it but was still comfortable enough to walk/run in (basically run away) in it. I was a little hesitant at first, but if he's comfortable enough to run away, I'm willing to bet he'll eventually be able to walk in it normally.
