I have tried different car phone holders. I've never had good suction from the ones that came on the dash. I didn't like the ones that went through the ventilation. I think having a small car limits what works best for me. I like this one best because it sits in my cup holder so it doesn't fall off and block air or heat. My mug is a bit big for this model, but I can wrap it in fabric to fill the space. It worked well. I love that there is a button on the back that extends the arms holding my phone. This was an issue with some of the other devices I tried. My cell phone was either too big or too small. I really like how many ways there are to set the right angle so I can easily see it while driving.
