Review on Car Sun Visor Extender with Anti-Glare Day/Night Sun Blocker for Windshield - Enhances Driving Visibility and Safety in Cars, SUVs, Trucks, and Trailers by Michael Ghosh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good combination of anti-reflective filters. Like the ones I see on TV, they work equally well day or night.

Although I don't drive dual carriageways very often these days, it would have been really good if I had driven from Logansport to Fort Wayne before they removed HWY24. I may have other options to use more if I get a new contract out of town in the future. Right now, taking a trip to Huntington to your favorite Mexican restaurant helps, and it really helps when the sun shines in your eyes. I usually dive in and lower the sun visor, but the glare is still hers. All it takes is me or an oncoming driver to have veered off the lane, and bad news for both of us. I used the night version for city trips. I lost my old yellow plastic night glasses, they were difficult to put on my prescription lenses anyway, so this works better in the car, at least facing ahead. The combination of day and night protection is good and makes driving safe. I had cataract surgery in 2015, two years prior I was working in Michigan but couldn't drive at night (except back to a hotel a few blocks away). Due to the change in daytime photography time in autumn and winter, I had to move to a more expensive one in the city. I used to leave early on Fridays to get back to Fort Wayne, but one day I got stuck in a traffic jam due to construction of an overpass on the freeway. It was getting dark by the time it cleared, and while the darker divided highway was fine, it was dangerous as hell as I turned into town and the bright headlights shone in my foggy eyes. I can see well today, but then I could have used this yellow highlight filter. After that I sent for a pair of yellow glasses, which I wore over my usual glasses in the evenings. Today they are good for day and night travel and I highly recommend them.
