Works great. Manoeuvrable, long cord, easy to empty. I just brushed the roller which was a plus as the hair builds up. Update 1 - After six months, 2 pieces of plastic connecting the handle to the base broke and fell off. The grip is now looser. I think it's a design issue. The vacuum control can back pressure on this part, causing it to crack and break. Will it be possible to use the vacuum cleaner after the whole piece breaks off? I don't know, but it's not as safe as it was when new. I contacted Hoover and was told that this part was no longer in stock and that I should go to an authorized dealer. The closest is 30 miles away so it's not the resolution I was hoping for. I will contact the repair center to see if this can be fixed. Another point to keep in mind for future purchases of the product. Research, research, research! Update 2: I have contacted an authorized repair shop and they need me to bring the vacuum cleaner so they can order from Hoover. But Hoover replied that the part was out of stock at the factory, so I feel like I'm getting an excuse. When purchasing Hoover products, be sure to consider customer service.
