These are the worst humidifier filters we have ever tried. They allow the humidifier to release significantly less water. We live in an arid climate and I depend on a humidifier. The first day I used the filter I was afraid that it was a poor quality filter because in the morning most of the water tank was still there. Other filters allow 1 full tank of water to be sprayed into the air per day and emptied 24 hours after the tank is full. As for the other filters, if there's still water in the reservoir after 24 hours, I know it's time to replace them. But those awful filters only allow about 1/3 of the water tank to be distributed per day, and after 24 hours there is still plenty of water in the tank. This means they are on par with other filters in their ability to "replace garbage". The dry air was making my nose runny so I issued a product return. I do not recommend if you rely on your humidifier. I bought another set of replacement filters from other manufacturers for our Honeywell and they are much thicker and better quality. I've attached photos to show how much smaller they are in comparison.
