Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sound, difficult handling

Update 05/16/2020: The headset often cannot be switched on even after charging. There's no point in great sound if it's not available. I absolutely love these headphones ALMOST. They have the usual Sennheiser sound quality (hence the four stars), but there are a few things that detract from the top rating: My biggest gripe with the ear adapters. You are VERY picky about doing things right. If you place them at the wrong angle, they won't fit snugly and won't let sound through. I fixed this with the Comply Isolation Plus earbuds (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BV2W21V) which are not only easier to insert but also have the benefit of having the sound tunnel covered to avoid that prevent earwax from entering. The other problem I had was the connection. Sennheiser seems to connect fine with my Android phone but they are pretty intolerant of my iPhone. I could listen to music on my Android phone from one floor up, but I kept getting "lost connection" alerts whenever I moved my iPhone within a few feet of the Sennheiser. but the button control scheme seemed impractical. As long as I can quickly pause my phone, it doesn't bother me (I'm too used to using my phone to control music to use other buttons), but I try to control volume, music, or phone calls with one touch with these headphones. was too complicated. I've also found that I don't really like the shape around the neck, but that's only because I've never used it. It's not something I can tick as it's just a user preference and I could choose a different format if I chose that. Overall, these headphones have the fanatical Sennheiser fidelity, but the control circuitry and wear and tear has been bitten off. If you buy them, be sure to buy the Comply eartips to make it easier to put your headphones in your ears and to protect your purchase from earwax clogging.

Pros
  • Two-year guarantee when purchased from an authorized Sennheiser dealer. Connection technology: Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises
