Review on FJA Products Universal Typewriter Ribbon - Twin-Spool Black 1/2 Inch Ribbon on 2-Inch Spool by Jake Powell

I have a Smith-Corona Skyriter that is at least 50 years old. I used it as a kid and dreamed of becoming a famous writer one day. When I called my mother to see if she had it, I was pleased when she said she had it and would bring it with her next visit. I immediately went online to see if I could get tapes for it and was glad to see I could. This tape arrived quickly and on time. Unfortunately the spools are too wide for a typewriter and we had to transfer the new ribbon onto the old spools. The width (1/2 inch) was good, but of course you had to spend a good 4-5 feet of tape to put it on a smaller spool. Anyway, the typewriter is working again, if only for nostalgia reasons and maybe as a co-star in the trailer for a horror novel I'm working on. Still happy with the product even though we had to get our hands dirty to make it work.
