Testimonial from Quilt Lady's husband: I've been looking for a replacement belt for years but never seem to find what interests me and am I willing to pay $40 for a smelly belt. Saw this one and thought "For $11, how could I be wrong?". I have a 32 inch waist so I cut off a few inches in length and melted the ends with a lighter. I really like the look and it goes well with jeans or good casual trousers. My only complaint (hence 4 stars) is that it takes 2 hands to thread the end through and tighten. I also found that it slips a bit when worn. If the teeth were a little sharper, maybe they wouldn't slip off? However, this is a good belt. UPDATE: I've had the belt for a month now and while it looks and feels like a mechanism, it SLIPPIES so it's only 3 stars. As most of my pants are pretty tight around the waist it doesn't really matter, but if you really need a belt to hold your pants up you can look elsewhere ;-(2nd UPDATE: I've had the belt for almost 3 years Months) and unfortunately I have to downgrade my rating to 2 stars. The band keeps slipping and the elastic loop has completely lost its elasticity. I had high hopes for this band because it looks good but doesn't work well. I will be looking for another strap soon. 3. UPDATE: I've had the harness for 8 months now and the slippage is getting worse so I've only downgraded my rating to 1 star. I found myself constantly tightening it all day 😡 Look elsewhere for the belt that really holds!
