Burned out almost immediately

I was thrilled when I installed a lightbulb and tested it on my Honda Odyssey. When turned on, it glowed with a *bright* bluish light. Unfortunately the bulb burned out after 4 days. So I said "Let's give this product a second chance" and installed the second of two lightbulbs. Once again it burned down, but even earlier (after about 2 days).
