The goods arrived on time. The item was well packaged to protect it. I bought a 50 inch chimney. Actual size of fireplace (burning fire) is 12 inches high and 45 inches long. The fireplace was built into a false wall. Had to use 2x6 for framing to accommodate the depth of the chimney. It couldn't be easier to install. It is held in place by 3 screws on each side. I didn't use the screws that came with it because the fireplace was mounted on brick and the screws weren't long enough to attach it properly. Just plug in and enjoy. The only task is to decide whether you want to use a tree trunk or crystal stones for the display. And have either crystal stones or a tree trunk. Simple remote control and user-friendly control panel on the device. You can start a fireplace without heating. I bought it more for the aesthetics. I definitely wouldn't use a heater to heat the whole house. It will likely take forever and not be cost effective. The heater is very quiet when it is on. When the device is in operation, you may feel the heater blowing about half a meter from the device. There is a timer that can be used with the device. The device has three flame color options: blue/orange, orange and blue. The only thing I wish this unit had were more different indicator lights. No sound when starting fire alone. It would be nice if the device had a speaker with a crackling sound of burning logs. Overall, I really like the looks and ease of use of the device.
