Product satisfying the quality of the product, good price.

In general, the model is good, there are no really serious flaws in it, except for the fact that this is perhaps the most passing model in the entire history of the Galaxy S series. If you have s8, you don’t even have to think about switching to s9 (unless, of course, you are interested in such a disgrace as animoji or such a rather specific thing as very slow motion). If you have some earlier models, then the device is worthy and, apart from the price, everything is fine in it.
But 5 points to put his hand does not rise. I haven’t been expecting a “wow” effect from flagships for a long time, but in order not to do anything at all in a year like this . It's sad.

Pros

It's difficult here . It depends on what to compare. If with almost any other smartphone on Android, then there are a lot of them, there is a very juicy display, and a very fast and high-quality camera, and the overall performance is on top, and the 3.5mm jack has not gone anywhere, and even the bundled headset (if we consider it just as a complete headset, and not as a hi-fi stray for audiophiles) is simply amazing . But this is probably clear to everyone. I will compare with the Galaxy s8 which I changed to this device a couple of days ago. For me, there are exactly two obvious improvements: 1) The quality of the speakers. Yes, there are now two of them, they are louder, the sound is better and there is even some faint hint of depth and bass. In general, the phone is really not very bad. 2) Overall performance. Surprisingly, it works noticeably faster than s8. When switching from s7 edge to s8, I did not notice such an increase. Slowdowns in chrome on heavy pages have become much less. I can’t say about the camera, I shoot a little, I’ll hardly use super slow-mo at least once, so for me these improvements are not remarkable. The camera opens and shoots even faster than on the s8, but I would attribute this to an overall very noticeable increase in performance.

Cons

1) Price. Why the phone suddenly grew in price by 10% per year is not clear, despite the fact that for the user this is exactly the same phone as a year ago with minor improvements. Apparently, all this is the harmful influence of Apple and the only reason for the price increase sounds something like this: “What, are we worse or what?”. Not the friendliest move on Samsung's part. 2) Autonomy. There are still not enough stars from the sky. Took the phone out of the box was about 50% charge. For an hour of tuning, I sat down to 13%. Yes, it was not an easy hour with transferring information via Wi-Fi and downloading applications from the market via LTE, but not 40% of the same percentage in 60 minutes. For an hour of Saturday morning surfing on news sites and other instagrams, it eats up about 15% of the charge. 3) The location of the fingerprint scanner. I don’t know for what purpose Samsung mocks its loyal customers, but again transferring the location of the scanner, when in a year I just got used to the previous one, is just wrecking. Although, it is worth noting, it has become better to work. D (03/24/2022): After two weeks of use, I can say that the battery began to behave better (screenshot attached), maybe calibrated or something, but there is no feeling that it is draining very quickly. My use case does not involve overload, I have enough for a day and a half. For the day did not discharge completely even once. You can live no worse than your predecessors. True, another problem appeared, with the 16.03, wireless charging was broken (this is especially ironic in the framework of the fact that they were distributed as a gift for pre-order), the phone heats up but does not charge (in my case, above 80%). We are waiting for an ate.
