Probably not ideal for extreme hiking or outdoor activities
Probably not thick enough for <30 degrees. Tends to collect condensation as you climb to altitude. This thing is usually soaked by the end of the hike. But if someone used it by just going outside in cold weather, it would work just fine. Blocks wind well despite being thin. Not as itchy as I thought!
