I don't know why so many people give it a 1 or a 0 because it doesn't fit in their particular water bottle. It is easy to measure the diameter of the bottom of the bottle. I could easily fit anyone up to 3 inches. The fabric is really nice on this holder (Grey-2). It's smooth to the touch and handles some heavy loads without snagging and keeps its shape. I don't think I needed the insulation but I can wear it close to my body and not worry about an ice bottle causing chills. work, it's not as easy to use as a cheap carabiner. I'll probably replace it with one. Also the cord for tightening is pretty much useless. Might fit in a long-necked beer bottle, but nothing more. If there were more holes where it's woven through the fabric, that might help. An elastic might work better, but due to the thickness of the fabric and small diameter, your options are limited.
