I bought this for a side project and although it looked fine once installed, after a few days the color changed from UV to more orange, closer inspection led me to believe the IP65 finish was indeed burnt. brown on each LED. I did a test with a short strip (a segment with 3 LEDs) which showed the same problem. I've included some photos of the test in hopes the manufacturer can fix the issue for other potential customers. Pictures show 1). New trail, 2). UV color at the beginning of the test, 3). Orange color 48 hours after power on, 4). The burnt area above each LED.
- SAFE TO USE: This tape operates on 12 VDC, extremely low heat. It's tangible. Wavelength: 385-400nm, UVA level no harm to human.
