I bought this disc to use with my XBOX 360. Using HDDHACKR 1.40 I successfully modified the disc and was also able to restore the original XBOX emulator from my old disc. I set everything up once, which took about 15 minutes total. The drive was immediately recognized by the Xbox which gave me 460GB after formatting. After that I transferred 200GB of data from my old 250GB drive to it using an XBOX transfer cable. The drive is getting hot in the Xbox. However, this can be remedied with an intercooler to keep the ambient temp down, or you can just do what I did and leave the disc drive door off the Xbox and lay it flat so the heat can rise up and out . Those who say that getting a 7200rpm drive doesn't really make a difference are nuts. Loading times for all games and apps have been drastically reduced. It used to take about 30-45 seconds to go from the loading screen to the action in Halo 4, now I can't get through the loading screen before I enter the game. Previously in GTA 5 it took more than 2 minutes to enter single player via the Rockstar logo. It now takes about 1:00-1:15 to join a single player game. Destiny load times halved. On average I would say ten to fifty percent faster loading times, it just depends on the game. So if you want 500GB of the fastest downloadable storage for your XBOX 360 then I 100% recommend this drive.
