Connected to a new computer with a clean install of Windows 10. Detected and working. However, the maximum speed was around 2 Mbit/s. Other AC1750s nearby are returning over 200 Mbps to my router. I searched for a new driver at Edimax. They had one that was newer than the standard Windows driver, but it was still a few years old. I installed that, rebooted and now the drivers won't start (Error 10). Tried uninstalling and reloading the default drivers with a simple device manager. Tried the Edimax uninstaller. Nothing works - must have overwritten some of the default driver files or something. I searched the internet and saw many other people with the same problem - very slow speed, unreliable connection and bad drivers. The problems are much worse if you have Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (1607) or newer, which was released in 2016. In one of the posts I saw, Edimax acknowledged the problem and said a fix was on the way. This post is over a year old. Throw it away and buy something more reliable.
