I have an old concrete porch that was covered in layers of paint (but also had peeling and ugly bald spots). I used this on a 4-1/2 angle grinder to sand down old paint and smooth out worn areas. He even took care of the original marks the boards left after they were poured over 60 years ago. The result is a stair and landing that looks better than ever. (I'd have to repaint them every few years.) This wheel did the job and was 1/3 the price of a similar wheel at the big store. In addition, there is still enough time for the next job. A warning: A lot of dust will be generated which can shorten the life of your coffee grinder if you don't blow the dust out. Be sure to wear protective equipment, especially a mask.
