Metal stamping is new to me and these stamps were very easy to use. I made personalized necklaces for our daughter's volleyball team using 1" punched aluminum rounds and 5/8" rectangular charms. It took me a few spaces to figure out where to place the dies and how hard/soft to hit them with a hammer, but I got the hang of it. I originally tried these on Lowes zinc metal discs and just couldn't hit them hard enough to make a clear impression. So that was a learning point - softer metal was required. These stamps are "deeper" than the mold stamps I use, so a lighter "knock" was enough to impress. I used a black marker to darken the prints and wiped off the excess with rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad. I will recommend and buy again.
