I was concerned that the white mat would get dirty easily, but it's really easy to clean. I just use a washcloth with some water and so far it has had no liquid drips, random scuffs and light pen marks. It repels water to a certain extent, but if you press or rub it, it will obviously be absorbed. There was no way I would submerge it in water. The material is similar to a normal mouse pad and the back is non-slip. You can change the light color/pattern by pressing the RGB fingerprint button. You can turn off the light by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds. You can remove the cord from the mat, which is nice. It's also a good size and fits my IKEA bar table well without being too big. I wish there wasn't a big black logo on the top because I have to flip the mat and it would be nice if the black controls and cable matched the color of the mat.
