Good vacuum cleaner until it stops

Bought this for use at the carpenters club. Used it once a week for about 9 months until one day it died in the middle of cleaning. I haven't even filled the bag it came with. I called the company (Alton Industries) who said since I bought it through Revain, Revain should have requested a refund/replacement under warranty. Revine said to speak to the manufacturer. I just accepted the loss and decided to post this review instead. Buyer Warning! This is a regular vacuum that doesn't last long and you won't have any support if it fails.
