I just had a huge skin graft removed from my arm and sewn up. The slit is eleven inches long and rubs against my clothing. I had to keep it covered so the scabs didn't rub off and the blood didn't get on my clothes. This is the bandage my doctor used, seven per dressing change, and I've bought two boxes so far to continue dressing at home. As I am allergic to glue this is very annoying, but it is not the fault of the bandages or their manufacturer. The fabric covering is very comfortable, I can't stand plastic bandages either. They don't hurt too much to take off when I need to change them and the pain is probably related to the rash under the tape on my skin. They don't wash off easily, so they're pretty durable. I recommend them to anyone who needs a strong, large bandage for a sensitive area or one that needs to be rubbed with skin or anything. These bandages do not stretch.
