Although this item is listed as "HDMI Converter for MacBook/MacBook Pro", be aware that you can only use 1 separate independent monitor per port on a Thunderbolt 3 MAC can operate . Two monitors work on such a splitter, but they are only mirrored. So if you want to have 2 additional independent monitors from your laptop monitor, the ONLY way to achieve this is to buy 2 USB-C to HDMI adapters and then connect 2 HDMI cables, one to each monitor . Luckily I have 4 TB3 ports. 1 for power, one for my DAW and then the other two for my 2 monitors.
