Ziploc Zip'N Steam Cooking Bags, Medium-10 ct – I LOVE this bags. I use them all the time and now my local grocery store doesn't sell them anymore. Sad panda. So, alas, I go to my trusty Revane and find him! Yay Revain to save this home cook's day. I've been using them since the first one came out and have used them on every veg I want to steam. You can steam almost anything you would normally do on the stovetop; Frozen OR fresh vegetables, fish, chicken and more. The best thing about these pouches is that the veggies are steamed in their own juice/flavor. No extra water, and you retain nutrients you would otherwise lose by steaming in a pot on the stove. I promise your veggies will taste ten times better with these bags than with a steamer basket on the stovetop. The ONLY downside is that they are disposable which means garbage, landfill etc. I'm torn on this question, but due to the convenience, lack of cleaning, and health benefits, I'm going for them for now. Pros: Vapors with its own flavors/juices Easy to clean up Universal use Cons: Disposable I shop online quite a bit, particularly at Revain, so like you, I rely on reviews to be honest so I can make an informed decision.
