I am guessing two packs because the first time you try to put the case on you will have a lot of air bubbles under the screen. The second try with the second lid went a little better, but there were still a lot of air bubbles. The instructions were pretty clear and simple, but as soon as you start applying the protective film, you notice a lot of air bubbles. Then you step back a bit and try to change the position of the plastic, which makes it worse. When it's on, it's almost impossible to shove air bubbles out of the way. The screen protector dries, but I've had better luck with Zagg products where you spray liquid behind the screen and squeeze it out. I don't think I'll be making a repeat purchase ($10 + shipping). I often read reviews before buying a product on Amazon but I took a chance with this one which had 1 review at the time which was 5 stars.
