So I bought a brand new Kuryakyn sissy bag which I never got to use as I checked my m109r shortly after it arrived. I bought it with my r1200gs and it sits in the back seat. It's a little big when flat so don't pack it all the way if you have a similar bike. This applies to vertical installations. It looks like it will stand up to the rain and maybe even a quick tumble in the current. I didn't want to see what happens with wet pads so I didn't try. I plan to put a sleeping bag, tent and other camping items in it. I can't comment on the quality as I haven't tested it, but it looks like it should withstand wind even though it's not aerodynamic. Cons: The helmet mount on the back is too small for a motorcycle helmet. Possibly a bike helmet as I saw in the picture afterwards. There is an unknown strap that can be used to hold the helmet, but it wobbles back and forth. It is best to use the unused space and stow it in a bag.
